THE PROOF IS IN THE PROCESS
Our VALOR Process is designed to make the pool building experience as stress-free and enjoyable as possible. We start by creating 3D features with Structure Studio to help you visualize your pool and outdoor living space. With clear communication and attention to scheduling, we'll manage the project within your budget and timeline. With our eye for detail and use of the best materials, you'll be able to sit back and enjoy your worry-free pool.
DETAIL/ENGINEERING
Design/Detail of Pool, Material, Equipment Details Outdoor Designs and Landscaping.
LAYOUT
The swimming pool’s basic outline is measured, and spray painted onto the ground as the first step in our construction process. The outline provides the homeowner and construction team the location and shape of the future pool. This will be reviewed by both parties. If any revisions need to be changed it would be now, before construction starts!
EXCAVATION
Once approved on location and shape, the site will be excavated with an additional 6-8 inches dug out in all directions. The pool will begin taking form. The dirt is removed during excavation but feel free to request that the dirt be used for other landscaping projects.
PLUMBING & EQUIPMENT
Now that the excavation is complete; the pool equipment will be positioned for eventual plumbing and electrical connection.
EXCAVATION
Once approved on location and shape, the site will be excavated with an additional 6-8 inches dug out in all directions. The pool will begin taking form. The dirt is removed during excavation but feel free to request that the dirt be used for other landscaping projects.
STEEL REBAR
We place #3 steel reinforcing rebar inside the excavated pool. Concrete spacers are used to keep the rebar from touching the sides and bottom of the pool. These spacers ensure an even amount of shell material underneath and above the rebar. Using this process ensures the structural integrity will last the life of the pool.
ELECTRICAL
The last step before the application of the shell material involves the installation of electrical wiring and boxes. All electrical work meets or exceeds the National Electric Code standards.
SHELL MATERIAL
We now apply the shell material to the pool this is done using either Shotcrete or Gunite. For our installations we use Shotcrete because it is more structurally sound and generally superior to Gunite.
WATERFALLS & BOULDERS
Installation or build-out of any water feature, rock water feature, boulders or artificial grotto will occur at this phase.
COPERS, PAVERS, & DECKING
After the shell application and water features, coping will be installed to tie it in. Any changes to your paving stone color and design will have to be made at this point to tie everything together.
POOL TILE
During this step decorative pool tile will be placed around the perimeter of the pool. All tile used by Valor Pools is specifically designed for swimming pools.
PRE-PLASTER CLEAN UP
In preparation for the plastering phase the interior and exterior will be cleaned of all pool construction debris.
FENCING
Once approved on location and shape, the site will be excavated with an additional 6-8 inches dug out in all directions. The pool will begin taking form. The dirt is removed during excavation but feel free to request that the dirt be used for other landscaping projects.
INSPECTION
Before the plastering can begin you will need to receive a city inspection. All barrier requirements will have to be completed before scheduling your inspection. It will be necessary that someone is present at the time of the inspection to ensure all requirements are met. After the inspection is passed, we will continue with the plaster phase of the pool installation.
INTERIOR FINISH
At this point we will install your pavers. Any wanted changes to your paving stone color and design will have to be made at this point so that everything comes out with a perfect match at the end.
START UP
Once the pool is filled with water, the pool system will be turned on. Upon completion our team will go through the operation and control navigation process so that our customers feel proficient in operating the system.
ENJOY YOUR POOL!
Now it's time to enjoy your personal outdoor oasis for years to come!
